Evaluation.
The essential purpose of evaluation is to collect, analyse and report data in a systematic manner to service providers or programme managers in order to inform future service provision, planning, organisation and practise. The importance of good effective evaluation cannot be underestimated as it has direct implications for overall performance, effectiveness, targeting and cost.
At Northern Research Associates we take great care to ensure that the methodology we adopt to conduct an evaluation not only meets with any statutory requirements, but also is designed to suit the specific needs of the client.
We believe that consultation with our clients forms an important part of any social research project. We also believe that it is important to keep the client informed throughout the lifetime of the research project.
We are aware that an evaluation is not simply an academic undertaking; but that it is of practical importance to you, the client, and that it remains your evaluation throughout the research period and after. Thus, we try to ensure that not only do we employ the professional and practical rigour required of all evaluators, but that the final report is intelligible, informative, pertinent and relevant and above all useful to the client.
